It is virtually impossible for me in Australia to get marine vegetables/sea moss/or Jubb's products due to economy/availability. Are there any alternative foods I could incorporate to supplement for this potential deficit?
cheers for all your help. |

Thanks buddy, appreciate the reply.
Prices do seem quite high though. Have you tried the dulse? how much are you supposed to use in your smoothie for exaple?
cheers. |

Yeah i have the organic red dulse 125g bag.
The 125g bag is $18 and its a good size bag.It's dry so the weight is misleading.
I just get out a piece or 2 (about half a hand full or more without compressing), and eat it.I put it in the blender some times but i just find it makes my drink less good so i eat the seaweed in 1 go then wash it down instead.
Luke talks about making some sort of jelly like thing by soaking it somewhere in the lifefood section but i read it a long time ago.
I haven't tried making it into anything.
The description says;
Hand harvested from the icy-cold waters of the isolated under-populated Eastern Maritime provinces of Canada, this rare and unique sun-dried seaweed has a velvety texture and delicious mild savoury taste. _________________ never making another avatar bet again. |

dulse is amazing for soups chips and breads, its savory like in the description
if u use it in a smoothie use a small amount but irish sea moss is the best for desserts because it has no taste much
